Today I visited a wonderfully surprising and fun quilt shop on Hwy. 101 in Florence, OR> The shop is called Wenz-Daze Quilter’s Emporium. Don’t let the industrial look of the outside fool you…this is a shop that is quite large and has several wonderful displays and beautiful fabrics. The shop is also a dealer for the HQ 16.
Among the many lovely displays in this shop is one of Asian Fabrics. Apparently, the husband of the shop owner is quite talented in the quilt pattern department (he has a background in automotive repair) and has created an awesome pattern that I think quilters would really enjoy using. There is also a lovely area of hand painted fabic scenes of the local lighthouses as well as a section of baby quilts and ways to utilize panels.
If you have the opportunity to visit Florence, treat yourself to this quilt shop…you won’t be disappointed.
